Even though illegal, there are still rules that are followed, the fights are arranged by class of fighter, and you wont be thrown into a fight with a higher class unless requested by the fighter. Class one is light cyberware, maybe one cyberlimb no more. Class two is everything up to full borg, heavy nanotech, body plating, up to three cyberlimbs, etc. Class three is full conversion Borgs. When they are not fighting, Pitfighters double as bodyguards for their "agents".
